- Everything sourced from the records you already write, with no extra data entry
- Updated the moment you save a session
A configurable record, not a fixed form
The physiotherapy workflow is built on the same configurable records engine the rest of HM Praxis uses. A physiotherapy template captures the fields that matter to you, such as pain score, body region, technique, and session notes. Because the record is structured, the app can read it back into the pain-trend chart and session log automatically.
You enable it by setting a member's specialty to Physiotherapy, which adds the Progress navigation item for that clinician. Other clinicians on the same team can use their own specialties at the same time.
Records that stay in your clinic
Your patient database is stored on your own computer and encrypted at rest with SQLCipher. It is never uploaded to our servers. On the Pro plan, several computers in the same clinic share the same data by syncing over your local network, with no cloud relay in between.
HM Praxis runs in English and Spanish on Windows, macOS, and Linux, is licensed per seat with no per-patient fee, and white-labels with your clinic's name and logo.

How does the pain-trend chart work?
Each physiotherapy session record includes a 0-10 pain score. The Progress view reads those scores and plots them over time, so you and the patient can see the trend at a glance. It comes from the records you already write.
Do I have to enter data twice?
No. The Progress view and session log are read directly from your structured physiotherapy records. You write the session once, and the chart and log update from it.
Is the physiotherapy record fixed or can I adjust it?
It is built on a configurable records template. You can capture the fields that fit your practice, such as pain score, region, technique, and notes, and the structured data drives the Progress view.
Where is my patient data stored?
On your own computer, encrypted at rest with SQLCipher. It is never sent to our servers. On the Pro plan, clinic computers sync over your local network only.
