HM Praxis reads your structured pediatric records into a Growth view you can open at a well-child visit:
- A weight trend chart from the weights you record
- A height (or length) trend chart from your recorded measurements
- A head-circumference trend chart for the early years
- All plotted over time from the records you write, updated as you save
An honest note on what the charts are
The Growth view plots trend lines of the values you record. It is not a WHO or CDC percentile chart, and it does not compare a child against population percentile curves. It shows how that child is tracking against their own history, which is what the recorded data supports.
We are deliberate about this so you know exactly what you are getting: clear, honest trend lines from your own measurements, not a clinical calculation we do not actually perform.
Records that stay in your clinic
Your patient database is stored on your own computer and encrypted at rest with SQLCipher. It is never uploaded to our servers. On the Pro plan, several computers in the same clinic share the same data by syncing over your local network, with no cloud relay in between.
HM Praxis runs in English and Spanish on Windows, macOS, and Linux, is licensed per seat with no per-patient fee, and white-labels with your clinic's name and logo.

Are these WHO or CDC percentile charts?
No. The Growth view plots trend lines of the values you record, showing a child against their own history. It does not draw population percentile curves or assign percentiles.
What measurements can I track?
Weight, height or length, and head circumference. The charts read those values from your structured pediatric records and plot them over time.
Do I have to enter the data twice?
No. The Growth view is read directly from your pediatric records. You record the measurements once at the visit, and the charts update from them.
Where is my patient data stored?
On your own computer, encrypted at rest with SQLCipher. It is never sent to our servers. On the Pro plan, clinic computers sync over your local network only.
