Physiotherapy
When a member sets their specialty to Physiotherapy, HM Praxis adds a Progress item to the navigation. Progress turns each session you record into a pain-trend chart and a running session log, so a patient's recovery across a course of treatment is easy to see and to share.
Progress appears as soon as your specialty is Physiotherapy. The specialty is a per-clinician choice you make in the Setup Wizard or in Settings → Profile; see the Specialties guide.
The Progress View
Pick a patient and Progress shows two things side by side:
- A pain-trend chart on a 0 to 10 scale across sessions, so you can see whether reported pain is trending down over the course of care.
- A session log - each session's date and a summary - giving you the narrative behind the trend line.
Both are read directly from the patient's structured physiotherapy records, so they always reflect exactly what you documented at each visit.
The Physiotherapy Record Template
The Progress view is driven by the physiotherapy record template, which captures:
- Region being treated
- Range of motion
- Pain scale (0 to 10)
- Exercises
- Progress notes
Record each session with this template and the pain scale feeds the trend chart while your progress notes build the session log. See Medical Records for how structured templates work.
